It has been a little while since I have had a chance to write down everything that has been happening with Jake. In the last few weeks Jake has had pink eye, gotten four new teeth(with another on the way), and a new shoe size. Jake is almost out of the baby shoe section at Nordstrom's. He also no longer has to stand on things to see out our windows. His little legs just seem to get longer and longer everyday. I can't believe how fast things change with him. He is picking up words left and right. This morning we were walking through Target and one of the sales people said, "Good morning." Immediately Jake looks at her and says, "Good morning." I just stood there in shock looking at my little man. Yes he was probably just copying her, but I was definitely shocked. Some words he is just copying, but a few have entered his vocabulary. Jake has melted both of his grandma's hearts by saying the word grandma. The word down has made it's appearance and unfortunately so has the word mine. Dan and I have really tried to avoid this word in our own conversations, but some how it has arrived anyway. It is amazing how many things he has picked up so quickly.
